The cooperative’s journey is one of resilience and dedication, with generations of farmers tending to their crops on the mineral-rich slopes of dormant volcanoes and small unique micro-lots. Their work has not gone unnoticed. With the support of Proyecto Lift Olopita, an initiative launched in 2017, these farmers have refined their techniques, embraced sustainable methods, and elevated their coffee to award-winning status. Through education and collective effort Olopita is not only producing some of Guatemala’s finest coffee but is also securing a brighter future for its farming families
