About Ethiopia Single Origin

Grown at Kochere Estate in the Gedeo Zone, part of the wider Yirgacheffe region in southern Ethiopia, this coffee comes from a landscape with an extraordinary connection to coffee. Widely regarded as its birthplace, Ethiopia is home to an incredible diversity of indigenous coffee varieties, with generations of growing tradition continuing to shape the coffees produced there today.

At elevations of approximately 1,900–2,100 metres above sea level, rolling hills, fertile valleys and a distinctive highland microclimate help develop the coffee's beautifully refined character. This season's Ethiopian heirloom showcases everything we love about Yirgacheffe: vibrant citrus and florals, subtle raspberry, a smooth clementine character and elegant white tea notes, all leading to a wonderfully light and delicate finish.
