Bakewell Tart Latte

A nostalgic café classic inspired by a British favourite

Inspired by the flavours of a traditional Bakewell tart, this Bakewell Tart Latte combines rich espresso with sweet cherry and smooth almond for a comforting, indulgent drink that customers instantly recognise.

It’s easy to prepare, quick to serve, and works beautifully as a seasonal special or year-round menu favourite — ideal for cafés, restaurants, garden centres and self-serve counters, while still being simple to recreate at home.

 

Ingredients

(Serves 1)

  • 1 shot (30ml) espresso
  • 10ml Simply Almond Syrup
  • 10ml Simply Cherry Syrup
  • 200ml fresh milk (or dairy alternative)

Optional:

  • Milk foam
  • Flaked almonds or a light dusting of cocoa (for garnish)


Method

  1. Brew the espresso
    Extract a single shot using Heavenly Blend Espresso Beans and set aside.
  2. Add the syrups
    Pour 10ml Simply Almond Syrup and 10ml Simply Cherry Syrup into your cup.
  3. Steam the milk
    Steam 200ml of milk until smooth and creamy with a light microfoam.
  4. Combine
    Pour the espresso over the syrups, stir gently, then top with steamed milk.
  5. Finish & serve
    Add foam and garnish if desired. Serve immediately.
